Chris has been building financial services and investment platforms for banks, governments and tech companies. He is currently serving as the CEO of ruya, the UAE’s digital-first Islamic community bank. With a focus on ethical Islamic banking practices, exemplary customer service and community engagement, together with his team at ruya he champions a fairer and more sustainable world. Prior to ruya, Chris held executive roles at G42 and Abu Dhabi Investment Office. He led award-winning strategy and customer experience teams in Emirates NBD’s Private Banking, Asset Management and Retail Banking verticals. He started his career in restructuring and turnaround consulting, corporate development and M&A.
