Atyab Tahir

Atyab Tahir is the Co-founder and CEO of HugoBank, a digital banking startup in Pakistan. For over a decade, he has been working diligently to increase financial inclusion in emerging markets, with an emphasis on providing services to the underserved communities in Pakistan.
Prior to HugoBank, Atyab made significant contributions to financial institutions such as Tameer Bank, Easypaisa, HBL, JazzCash, and Mastercard. These experiences equipped him with the insights and understanding needed to address the unique challenges of the Pakistani financial sector. Under Atyab’s leadership, HugoBank is also focused on creating a frictionless customer experience, a comprehensive client engagement strategy, and transitioning services from traditional banking branches to digital platforms.

Atyab’s background in entrepreneurship, refined during his time at Babson College, informs his approach. He actively engages with the startup ecosystem, forging strategic partnerships that drive innovation.
